Students should plan to arrive at the St. Louis Lambert International Airport in St. Louis, Missouri.

USA Express Shuttle Service is a transportation company that offers a daily van shuttle service from the St. Louis airport to Rolla. Reservations are required at least 48 hours in advance. Visit their website for departure times, reservations, and pricing.

Our International Student Orientation is held during the second week in August for the Fall semester, or second week of January for the Spring semester. You are strongly encouraged to attend it, but we understand if you cannot make it since it is so early before the start of the semester. To check the date classes will begin, please see S&T Academic Calendar for the particular semester. If you are not able to arrive for International Student Orientation, mini orientations will be offered later in the semester. 

The University Bookstore is located in the Havener Center Student Center. Another privately owned bookstore is also located near campus. Both locations offer new and used textbooks for purchase. Books may be resold to the bookstore at the end of the semester. The cost of books will vary depending on the classes you select. In general, you should plan for approximately $500 per semester for books and supplies.
