Nomination deadlines: 

  • April 1: fall semester
  • October 1: spring semester

Student orientation: Held in-person on campus, typically the week before classes begin. 

Program fee: Students are responsible to pay: 

  • Housing
  • Dining
  • SEVIS fee
  • Insurance
  • Any bookstore charges

Visa: Mandatory for all exchange students to obtain a J-1 visa to study at Missouri S&T. 

Insurance: Mandatory for all exchange students and will be charged to their S&T student accounts. Learn more about insurance requirements

Arrival in the U.S.: Exchange students can make a shuttle reservation for pick-up from the St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) at no cost.
