S&T Study Abroad programs 

  1. Find your program in the program search
    • Search and apply for 2026 programs in myStudyAbroad — select the "Apply Now" button on the overview or application instructions tab on the program page.
      • When you log in to myStudyAbroad for the first time, select "Create an account" and set up your account using your S&T email address. After that, you will select "Log in as an S&T or external user." 
      • This short video shows you how to search for program, create an account and apply for a program. 
      • Once you have started an application, you can return to it later by directly logging in to myStudyAbroad
    • Search and apply for 2027 programs in Global Miners — select the "Apply Now" button on the overview or application process tab on the program page.
      • When you log into Global Miners, select "Log in as an S&T user" and use your university username and password to sign in. 
      • Once you have started an application, you can return to it later by directly logging in to Global Miners.
  2. Complete all application requirements. These vary by program, and you must make sure all requirements are complete and then submit your application. 

Application deadlines

Application deadlines vary by program and can be found in the dates and deadlines section of each program page. Typically, applications are due about a semester prior to the program start date. 

Passport 

Obtain a passport or check the expiration date if you already have one. You must have a valid passport to study outside the United States. However, you do not need a passport in order to submit your study abroad application. 

Non-S&T programs

If you plan to participate in a program not affiliated with S&T, you still need to apply through our non-S&T program to maintain your enrollment at S&T. Carefully read the non-S&T program page for more information:
